Josh, known as Thranduart, accidentally “fell” into cosplay in 2013 when he created his first ever cosplay which he is most known for – Thranduil, king of the elves. Since then, he has jumped headfirst into this hobby and loves every second! Known for his meticulous attention to detail, uncanny ability to transform into characters using makeup, and for never taking his work (or himself) too seriously, he loves what he does. He’s created a completely fan-made Cosplay music video as Thranduil, has earned multiple awards in Costuming, including the title of 2018 Western Champion of Cosplay at ECCC, and is now a Brand Ambassador for Husqvarna Viking sewing machines and OLFA cutting tools. Josh loves to share work in progress pictures, encourage and teach others who love costuming, and always strives to be a positive influence in the cosplay community.
